The Internal Complaint Committee at Chandigarh Pharmacy College, Jhanjeri’s primary objective is to prevent, prohibit, and address incidents of sexual harassment on our campus premises. Comprised of dedicated members, the committee is steadfast in its commitment to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all community members, with a particular focus on the well-being of women.

With a clear mandate to promptly and impartially handle complaints related to sexual harassment, the committee strives to safeguard the dignity and rights of every member associated with CPC Jhanjeri. The establishment of this committee underscores CPC Jhanjeri's unwavering dedication to fostering a culture that rejects sexual harassment and promotes a secure, inclusive, and supportive learning and working environment for all.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce policies against harassment and discrimination within the organization, ensuring compliance and accountability among employees and management
  • Maintain confidentiality while receiving and documenting complaints, respecting the privacy and safety of individuals involved
  • Conduct fair and unbiased investigations into reported incidents, gathering evidence and testimonies from relevant parties
  • Determine suitable actions and resolutions based on investigation findings, including disciplinary measures and support for affected individuals
  • Organise educational programs and training sessions to raise awareness about workplace rights and responsibilities regarding harassment and discrimination prevention
