About NCC

National Cadet Corps (NCC) at CPC Jhanjeri is a vital organization that plays a significant role in shaping the character, discipline, and leadership qualities of students. The program aims to inculcate a sense of unity, patriotism, and social responsibility among the youth while fostering a spirit of adventure and camaraderie. It is led by faculty with military experience, and it offers rigorous training in drills, first aid, and community service.

NCC unit at CPC Jhanjeri serves as a dynamic platform for holistic development, equipping students with the skills, values, and experiences necessary to become responsible citizens and future leaders of society.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Must have obtained 55% and above marks in 10th & 12th
  • Should be physical & mentally fit
  • Only Three year & Four year courses are eligible for NCC (Army , Navy & Air Force) Wing
  • Preferences for additional activities such as singing, dancing, sports, dramatics, special achievements, etc.
AIM
  • To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and the ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country
  • To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and be always available for the service of the nation
  • To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed forces

  • Cadet Jyoti and Cadet Neha received the medal for the Best Cadet in ATC-2019 camp.
  • Cadet Gaurav Mishra received the Gold Medal for the Shooting competition held in the Annual Training Camp-2019.
  • TCadet Ruchit Mishrat and Cadet Manpreet Kaur secured 1st position in Cultural Event held at ATC.
  • In 2019 the NCC cadets of CPC Jhanjeri won 10 Gold medals, 2 Silver Medals in the ATC-2019
  • Our students won Gold Medals as Camp Seniors, captured 1st position in Drill, Quiz, Cultural events, Basket Ball, Volley Ball and as overall best cadet during various Annual Training Camps held at NCC Headquarters year after year.

  • Various Incentives are provided by the central Government to Cadets with NCC ’B’ & ’C’ certificates for recruitment in the ranks in the Defense Forces.
  • NCC Special Entry Scheme is applicable for SD Wings graduates in OTA in the age group of 19-25 years with 50% marks, through DDG of states for direct interview (SSB) every year. The Cadets are exempted from CDS examination conducted by UPSC.
